This educational application designed for iPhone®, iPad®, and iPod touch® offers a comprehensive digital adaptation of the Difficult Situations Fun Deck® by Super Duper® Publications, featuring all 56 illustrated flash cards accompanied by audio narration of each card’s text.

The app provides an effective framework for teaching and discussing safety, emotional awareness, and problem-solving strategies in stressful situations. Sample prompts include scenarios such as, “Someone at school is bullying you and won’t stop,” or “Someone calls your house when you are alone and asks to speak to your mom,” facilitating meaningful dialogue and skill development.

Its interface is straightforward: each student views an illustration, reads the prompt aloud or listens to it by tapping the screen, then offers a verbal response. The educator can record responses by selecting the green (correct) or red (incorrect) buttons. Progression to subsequent cards is achieved by sliding the current card aside. Multiple players can be managed by tapping the top bar to select a name, with options for manual or automatic advancement through the Auto-Advance feature in the Game Options menu. The app allows pausing a session to resume later, and provides options to view performance data through graphs, with capabilities to print or email reports.
